Thank you for this posting. I purchased the Romeo 7s in May last year and almost immediately started to experience issues.
Within two weeks at the range, I shot 200 rounds and the green dot would totally disappear periodically. Like it had been turned off. Sometimes engaging and disengaging the safety on my S&W FPC would make it reappear. Other times adjusting the battery cap would make it reappear. And sometimes just letting it sit for a few seconds would do the trick.
I contacted customer service and they were very responsive. They asked me to send it in and within a couple of weeks in early June, they sent me a brand new replacement.
It has worked great since then….. until today. The green dot disappeared again at the range. I’ve been to the range about a dozen times shooting about 1000 rounds. That’s 12 hours of use. It shouldn’t be a battery issue. What could be the problem?
