Aimpoint T2 Problems

Last Update:

Welcome to my blog about Aimpoint T2 problems.

You might experience some problems as an Aimpoint Micro T2 user, which might affect how well you shoot. But don’t worry; I’ll share some useful solutions with you so you can get past these issues.

So, without more delay, let’s get started!

Aimpoint T2 Problems And Their Solutions

1. Short Battery Life

Have you ever gone on a hunting excursion or to the range only to have your red dot sight’s power die unexpectedly? It may be dangerous as well as annoying.

The lifespan of the battery can occasionally be shorter, you might have experienced this. The battery life may be shorter than expected if you regularly use the sight in very cold weather or frequently change the brightness settings.

Solution

  • Use top-notch batteries and refrain from making frequent brightness adjustments to get the most out of your red dot sight.
  • Carry an extra battery and keep it moderate for optimal functionality in cold weather.

2. Parallax Error

When it involves aiming with a red dot sight, precision is everything. But what if the dot doesn’t align with your intended target? Some Aimpoint Micro T2 users, including myself and might be you, have noticed a parallax error, which indicates that the dot appears to be off-center.

It might be the distinction between hitting the target and missing it. Imagine taking your shot and then realizing your dot was off by a mere hair.

Solution

  • Keep good shooting form and meet your eye with the Micro T2 sight to decrease parallax error.
  • Getting the right eye relief can be made easier with an adjustable mount.

You can increase your accuracy and utilize your red dot sight to its full potential by paying attention to these easy suggestions.

3. High Price

It’s not surprising that the Aimpoint Micro T2 sight has a high price given the long battery life, solid build, and consistent accuracy. But the price might be a deal-breaker for you and more people out there.

Solution

  • There are more reasonably priced red dot sights available, this is not the only option.

It’s crucial to keep in mind though that you get what you pay for.

4. Blurred Lens

A clear and sharp image is required for accurate aiming. Consider aligning your shot only to find that the target’s edges have become deformed or blurry.

Your entire shot may be affected, making it challenging to hit your target.

Solution

  • A microfiber towel as well as a lens cleaner solution might be used to clean the lens.
  • You might need to get in touch with Aimpoint customer service if the issue keeps going or if you want more help.

Take action right away to get the assistance you require and don’t let this problem compromise your accuracy.

5. Short Eye Relief

Having a relaxed and natural stance is essential to retaining accuracy and preventing fatigue when using a red dot sight.

However, I can attest from personal experience that the Aimpoint Micro T2’s somewhat limited eye relief can make aiming uneasy, particularly for those who wear spectacles or have restricted eye movement.

Solution

  • If you’re having trouble getting the right amount of eye relief, try moving the gun’s sight or using a mount that can be moved.

6. Weight and Size

Are you sick of being burdened by cumbersome, heavy optics when you go on shooting excursions? The days of carrying around heavy equipment that keeps you from your target are over.

Solution

  • Consider a lighter, more compact sight.

Don’t let ill-fitting red dot sight prevent you from performing at your best. Make the switch right now to a cozier, more useful choice.

My Experience

I recently bought an Aimpoint Micro T2 to use with my rifle, and I’m really happy with how it performs. Amazing accuracy can be found in the sight.

The reticle is easy to operate and user-friendly. When used frequently for months, the battery life is also remarkable.

The mount on the sight can occasionally become slack after prolonged use, but this problem is easily fixed by clenching the screws with a wrench.

As a whole, I am exceedingly pleased with what I bought and would heartily endorse the Aimpoint Micro T2 to other gunmen.
