In order to hit the target flawlessly, sights are necessary when attempting to shoot. The Trijicon SRO is a solid optic that was created specifically for use with pistols and handguns.

Although Trijicon SRO was introduced with the intent of being used with target pistols, Trijicon SRO also does well with rifles or in situations requiring greater distance accuracy.

A person who already owns these weapons or is considering purchasing them can purchase Trijicon SRO for a great result.

Trijicon SRO: Features and Benefits

Trijicon SRO offers phenomenal features and benefits, so let’s truly appreciate it; Benefits are what determine whether or not an optic is worth the asking price;

1. Rugged, Durable Construction

Trijicon SRO is made of “7075 T6 Aluminum,” which is nigh indestructible and extends the lifespan of your optic. This “7075 T6 Aluminum” is alloyed to give the Trijicon SRO optic a smooth texture and to ward off deterioration.

Trijicon SRO lens frames are made of premium materials, making them durable and scratch-resistant.

2. Resistance to Water and Shock

The Trijicon SRO is resistant to water, so it can survive various weather patterns, enabling your optic to operate effectively in moisture or snowy conditions, etc. Trijicon SRO can endure water depths of up to ten feet.

The Trijicon SRO is shockproof, so your optic won’t get scratched even if it drops from an altitude of approximately seven to eight feet.

TESTING: To see if the Trijicon SRO can withstand height falls and work in the rain, I experimented with it. Yes, the Trijicon SRO works flawlessly in wet conditions and has withstood five shoulder drop tests without sustaining any damage.

3. Large, Unobstructive Field of View

Trijicon SRO has excellent glass clarity and a substantial field of view, providing a clearer overall view. This broad scope of view allows you to see the aim and its surroundings evidently. Trijicon SRO provides a great advantage because shooting requires a clear, expansive view. You don’t want to miss the target.

4. Eye Relief and Parallax-Free

Trijicon SRO also offers limitless eye relief, so you won’t experience any strain on your eyes while you’re shooting or right after. Your reticle will remain intact even if you move your head or attempt to adjust credit to its parallax-free nature, which adds to its attraction to shooters.

5. Clear, Crisp Red Dot

The Trijicon SRO reticle, which is offered in three different variations in the market, is the focal point. Three alternatives are available: 1 MOA dot, 2.5 MOA dot, and 5 MOA dot.

For long-range and bullseye shooting competitions, the 1 MOA dot is a precise dot that works best. The 2.5 MOA dot is also a fine and accurate dot that works best for competition, hunting, and target practice. Although the 5 MOA is not as precise as the 1 MOA and 2.5 MOA, it appears bold and is used for close-up shooting.

You can locate the dot and center it in the lens when hitting the target due to the wide spherical field of view. An easy-to-find and accurate red dot makes for an achievable aim.

6. Top Loading Battery

Trijicon SRO has an upper battery compartment that makes replacing the battery cell quicker and easier. With its battery compartment situated on the top of the optic, removing the optic from the firearm is not required. It saves time, to put it briefly.

The Trijicon SRO has a long-lasting battery installed in its compartment. The Trijicon SRO is powered by a “CR-2032 lithium” battery, which has a coin-like shape.

7. Easy-to-Adjust Illumination Controls

The illumination controls button on Trijicon SRO is easy to adjust, offering the setting option for up to 8-levels. The illumination for daylight can be adjusted on a scale of one to six levels, with level one providing an exceptionally bright red dot. The brightness can be adjusted for poor lighting or night vision using the additional two levels.

With these provided brightness levels, you can change the intensity in accordance with the light sources and never run into trouble due to insufficient illumination.

8. Multiple Operational Modes

Trijicon SRO offers multiple mechanisms that you can choose from depending on how convenient they are for you to use.

One mode is the manual mode, which is a simple mode in which you manually adjust the brightness of Trijicon SRO.

The second mode, known as an automatic mode or lock-out mode, in other words, helps secure the auto illuminance setting. This default mode, automatic, makes things easier for you by automatically adjusting the illumination to light conditions. For both regular use and hunting, it is ideal.

The lock-in mode, the third mode, is an advanced option that locks the illumination setting you selected before entering. It can be very useful for competition or target shooting because if your optic is dropped or accidentally touched by you, the configuration will not alter.

9. Easily Adjustable Windage and Elevation

Why are windage and elevation so simple to adjust? This is because it can be zeroed without inconvenience.

The Trijicon SRO is a tool-free design. Therefore, zeroing the sight is not a tricky task. Additionally, it holds zero, even if the battery is changed or the user drops it from a height of ten feet. Now feeling hopeful? You simply need to zero the sight once.

Trijicon SRO’s 150 MOA windage and elevation adjustment is the highest it can go. Trijicon SRO windage and elevation adjustment is incremented by 1 MOA.

10. Footprint as RMR

Trijicon SRO uses the same footprint as Trijicon RMR, which is a widely accessible footprint. Therefore, Trijicon SRO can be mounted quickly and easily with the same ground as Trijicon RMR on well-known red dot ready pistols.

Is Trijicon SRO Budget-Friendly or Not?

Directly stating whether it is affordable or not is impractical. Trijicon SRO (Specialized Reflex Optic) is an expensive product, costing more than $500 on the market, making it out of reach for most consumers.

However, for now, consider the functionality provided by Trijicon SRO, which will certainly persuade you to purchase this sight. Look, the market is flooded with inexpensive optics, but who can guarantee that they will outperform Trijicon SRO in terms of durability?
